Intermediate Interior Designer - Hospitality Projects

A well known, boutique hospitality design firm is very busy creating highly stylized hotels, restaurants and private residences. This award-winning company is eager to hire an Intermediate Designer with 5+ years of hospitality experience and experience designing custom furniture. Key Responsibilities • Source and write thorough FF&E specs and schedules • Develop custom FFE design intent drawings and being able to run with a heavily custom FFE package pretty independently • Manage FF&E budget throughout project • Experience working with custom furniture vendors to create one-of-a-kind pieces • Review and approve FF&E purchase orders, coordinates final placement of FF&E installation • Develop and review construction documents to determine compliance in areas of quality, code and design • Build and maintain relationships with outside vendors • Work closely alongside the team on development of concepts and packages for high-end Hospitality, Retail and Residential projects Skills and Experience • Proven experience leading numerous successful projects in high-end hospitality design with a focus on FF&E and project management • Should be familiar with Hospitality Brand standards • Experience in all project phases, including CA • Fluency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Suite, and Spexx preferred • Ability to work under own initiative or as part of a team • Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure while remaining professional • 5+ years professional experience with a majority being Hospitality focused • Understanding the priorities within each project • Attention to detail
