Intermediate Interior Designer

Trans‐Pacific Design is a luxury Hawaii interior design studio based in Kamuela, on the Big Island of Hawaii‐creating exceptional interiors designed to embrace and harmonize with the beauty of Hawaii. We specialize in residential resort interiors for many of the beautiful resort properties along the island’s coast Join us in our busy Interior Design Office as an Interior Designer! The candidate should be confident in communicating regularly with the client in order to assess their needs and be able to adjust a given approach based on feedback. Responsibilities • Create attractive designs and layouts for various projects • Create and review construction drawings • Develop a colors and materials palette • Meet with the client in order to understand the client's objectives and desires • Communicate effectively with client, vendors, and team in order to address client's needs • Prepare presentations in AutoCAD and PowerPoint for clients • Create quotes for clients and ensure full workflow is followed • Maintain industry knowledge in order to stay relevant Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in interior design • 4 years of experience in interior design; • Proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office suite • Strong creative and communication skills
