Intern Interior Designer/Design Professional (Interiors)

Our team of experts listen intently, solve creatively and deliver reliably to make remarkable design easy. ** • *The firms roundtable operating approach engages honed perspectives across workplace interiors and corporate office, hospitality, convention center, mixed-use... sports, education, retail, healthcare and multifamily residential to deliver design solutions that meet the complex challenges of the 21st century. • Engage and contribute to project opportunities as part of a larger project team • May take on leadership of smaller projects under the guidance of a seasoned professional • Develop required technical and functional skills in related technologies, which may include Adobe Creative Suite, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, Revit, Rhino, Enscape, Sketchup, and other 3D modeling and rendering programs • Participate in professional development activities and initiatives, both inside and outside the firm • Build and maintain a network of connections within the industry; attend events central to the firms strengths and goals • Any other duties as assigned • *Qualifications** • Degree in Interior Design from a CIDA accredited college or university • 0-5 years of relevant experience • Demonstrated mastery of the job duties listed above • Ability to work in Revit, Photoshop, Sketch-up, and other rendering programs is preferred • Ability to network within the industry • Knowledge of materials, project design, and introductory knowledge of construction documentation • Effective verbal and written communication skills • Ability to work in a collaborative, professional manner • Ability to problem solve with attention to detail and a desire to learn and mentor • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines • On track for future professional licensure or certification TVS also offers resources and benefits to assist our employees with pursuit of professional licensure and certification.
