This role requires a proactive approach to managing all facets of the design process, including serving as the primary lead on client communications, overseeing and mentoring the design team, and driving the development and execution of all FF&E selections. The Design Director will be instrumental in ensuring projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to the firm's exacting standards. • Highly skilled in AutoCAD, studio designer, and Adobe Suite (InDesign and Photoshop) • Strong and thorough interior architectural drawing skills • A great eye with a strong understanding of high-end design • Thorough understanding of luxury vendors and furniture producers • Strong graphic presentation skills • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Well organized and able implement systems within the office to ensure effective management of projects • Honest; with high personal values and ethics • Comfortable stepping up and taking action when needs arise; decision-maker • Has demonstrated a high level of professional integrity by taking pride, ownership and responsibility for own work as well as team member’s work.
