LB Architects, a mid-sized interior architecture design firm in New York City, is seeking a Job Captain/Project Architect for a fulltime position. The position will involve working in a team on projects through all phases of design and construction. LB Architects offers a fast paced collaborative environment with unlimited growth opportunities within the firm. Responsibilities include: • Attend Client meetings • Develop design solutions and details in collaboration with the project designer • Coordinate contract documents with design team and consultants • Perform construction administration duties • Review submittals and resolve concerns on site An ideal candidate will have 5 - 10 years of professional experience in the field of architectural interiors and a degree from an accredited school in Architecture or Interior Design. He or she will have familiarity with building codes, construction techniques and materials, CAD and rendering programs.
