We are currently experiencing exciting growth and seeking a job captain to play a pivotal role in our San Francisco studio. The Job Captain sets up documents for a range of project types from the initial phases. Works with team to advance the design into technical documents.Communicates with Project Manager/Project Architect on program, design, budget and schedule for timely and appropriate design development. Prepares presentations and documents under the guidance of a Project Manager.Strategizes the content and prepares the framework drawing set during all phases of the project(s) and in coordination with project plan.Coordinates with Project Manager / Project Architect and disseminates to project team the project schedule and budget.Responsible for researching and implementing building code and municipal requirements.Obtains data, prepares information required by specifications writer and coordinates preparation of specificationsProvides supervision and initial quality-control review of team. Professional degree or recognized equivalentExperience in design, preparing drawings and project documents and consultant coordination.License and/or credentials encouraged7+ years of experience including coordinating technical projects, resources and project consultants.Commitment to design excellence and document quality.Experience in design development and detailing on a wide variety of project types.For consideration, please email your resume and work samples to [email protected] referencing the job title on the email subject.
