Jr. Interior Designer

Since 2001, our firm has completed a wide range of residential and commercial design projects. We are actively designing restaurants, creative office environments, and home renovations large and small. We pride ourselves on our client-driven design process - building long term relationships with clients that are passionate about design As a Junior Interior Designer, your responsibilities include: Work alongside lead designer to develop project concepts Assist with meetings on and off-site Prepare client presentations - digital and physical materials Create detail specification reports Drafting: assist interior architect to document as-built conditions, drafting concepts and construction documents 3D Modeling: produce 3D models of interior space as well as custom fixtures and furniture Product sourcing, quoting and pricing Maintaining accurate project records and updating project schedule Coordinate with vendors and contractors to ensure quality and document work Facilitate installations Manage CFAs and sampling Organize and update resource library Errands and general designer expeditor assistance Job Requirements: Minimum two years of professional experience working at an interior design or architecture firm Proficient in AutoCad, Sketchup, Adobe Creative Suite Experience with Studio Designer preferred, but not required Education/degree in Interior Design or Interior Architecture The successful applicant will have the following qualities: Highly organized and detail oriented Passionate about providing our clients with premium level customer service Proactive and thorough communicator Collaborative and enjoy working in a small team Comfortable working on multiple projects at once About working with us: Weedman Design Partners has a 2,000SF office located on N.
