A successful candidate should embody the following characteristics: -Reliable, able to meet deadlines, driven -Professional: be punctual, deliver what is promised, uphold our standards and values, have a "can-do" attitude -Approachable, affable, and real -Possess breadth: be able to work on diverse and multifaceted projects -Have empathy: be able to relate to our client's point of view, be compassionate and understanding -Listener: understand how to hear and see what is being requested even though the two may be in conflict -Quality: high attention to detail, creative use of materials, produce innovative solutions Skills • Produce technical drawings for permit submittals • Architecture or Interior Design degree (finished or three years completed) • Collaborate with internal team and consultants • Open to taking on different duties as needed • Experience with residential projects • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Sketchup, Adobe CS and Office for PC • Experience with building codes a plus • Interest in how buildings go together • Can drive • Current resident of the Bay Area who can be in Oakland Mondays and Wednesday • Available to interview/start work immediately.
