The Junior Commercial Interior Designer will assist our interior design teams in the design and development of various commercial interior design projects. This position requires a thorough knowledge of drafting and related practices using AutoCAD and Revit software. Additional duties may include assisting in the selection of interior finishes and fixtures, excel spreadsheet input, and modeling in Sketch-Up under the direction of senior staff. This position requires the ability to recognize and resolve moderately complex problems, communicate effectively, adapt to changes and elect most effective methods of accomplishing tasks, as well as general studio keeping. • Participates in meetings and offers technical recommendations regarding the development of new drafting categories or in using alternative methods of accomplishing tasks and requirements.
