Junior Designer

Assisting design managers and providing administrative support to office and principals Coordinate needs of client, designers and professional trades Conduct research for the project team Assist in space planning, programming, and conceptual design activities Research and/or specify materials, finishes, furniture, lighting and flooring Assist with furniture, furniture systems, fabrics, equipment (FF&E). Work with external consultants, product representatives, furniture dealers, and fabricators Conduct field surveys Use feedback from other designers to improve Collaborate with team member(s) on projects Be hands‑on with all aspects of day‑to‑day tasks Must possess strong organizational skills and an attention to detail Ability to self‑manage, multitask and handle numerous projects at once Excellent written and oral communication skills Ability to interface professionally and collaborate with peers and a demanding clientele Passion for creating beautiful, functional interiors Own transportation is strongly preferred Experience with Studio Designer is a plus. Knowledge of furniture, finishes, materials, color selections, and specifications is preferred. Space Planning knowledge and familiarity with building codes is a plus.
