Junior Designer

Assisting design managers and providing administrative support to office and principalsCoordinate needs of client, designers and professional tradesConduct research for the project teamAssist in space planning, programming, and conceptual design activitiesResearch and/ or specify materials, finishes, furniture, lighting and flooringAssist with furniture, furniture systems, fabrics, equipment (FF&E).Work with external consultants, product representatives, furniture dealers, and fabricatorsConduct field surveysUse feedback from other designers to improveCollaborate with team member(s) on projectsBe hands-on with all aspects of day-to-day tasksMust possess strong organizational skills and an attention to detailAbility to self manage, multi task and handle numerous projects at onceExcellent written and oral communication skillsAbility to interface professionally and collaborate with peers and a demanding clientelePassion for creating beautiful, functional interiorsOwn transportation is strongly preferred • Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, related design field or have 1+ years experience in a design position. is a plus. • Experience with Studio Designer a plus. • Experience with conducting field surveys is preferred.
