Junior Designer

We are a high end interior design firm looking for Junior designer. Work will be part time and flexible working remote. JOB DESCRIPTION Responsibilities will include all aspects of the design process from conceptual phase to assisting on-site with installations: \\- Site surveys in the NYC Metro area \\- Drafting 2D floor plans and elevations, millwork and custom furniture drawings \\- Researching, sourcing, and specifying FFE and materials \\- Develop mood boards, presentations, and other visual assets \\- Creating and updating all FFE and project-related schedules \\- Gather and organize samples by client and maintain materials library JOB REQUIREMENTS \\- Degree in Interior Design \\- experience at residential design studio \\- Proficiency in AutoCAD \\- Proficiency in Microsoft word, excel and PowerPoint \\- proficiency in Studio Designer and or 3D programs are a plus \\- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with team members \\- Organized with great attention to detail \\- Effective verbal and written communication skills Please submit CV, portfolio or sample work, and reference list with your application.
