Junior Industrial Designer for the Home Décor Market

We pride ourselves on crafting a range of residential light fixtures that are new, on-trend, and value-conscious. The Junior Industrial Designer will contribute to the creation and development of new products from concept... generation to manufacturing. Design background, CAD experience, attention to detail, creativity, and an understanding and love of home fashion will be crucial for success in this position. We think you'll be a good fit for the role if you: - Have a Bachelor’s degree in a related field, for example: industrial design, interior design, art, product design, furniture design, lighting design, or architecture - Have two (2)+ years of professional design experience beyond school - Have experience manipulating vector files using a CAD software such as AutoCAD, Revit, or similar (preferred) - Are comfortable doing graphics work within Photoshop, Illustrator, or InDesign - Have a keen eye for design and an understanding of design principles, ideally within home fashion - Have a strong ability to communicate ideas and concepts through hand sketching or prototyping - Have experience managing projects in Monday.com (preferred) or some other project management software - Have the ability to organize, prioritize, and manage multiple projects with overlapping deadlines - Demonstrate initiative, are conscientious, and provide complete follow-through on areas of responsibility - Have prior experience working with Asian manufacturers and working knowledge of their customs and cultural differences (preferred) - Have strong written and verbal communication skills - Are self-motivated and have a strong work ethic - Have the confidence to solve problems and be creative - Have the ability to build excellent working relationships internally and externally to achieve goals - Are able to effectively communicate your thoughts and ideas - Can successfully pass a background check and drug screening
