Junior Interior Designer

OVERVIEW Junior Interior Designer Hearth Homes Interiors is a full-service interior design studio located in Santa Barbara, California. We are currently seeking a highly motivated, creative and energetic Junior Interior Designer to join our growing team. This job is very fast-paced, and no two days are the same. You need to be excited to learn and willing to wear many hats. Responsibilities & Duties \\- Assisting Lead Designers with the execution of all project goals through all design phases \\- Independently formulate designs under the guidance of the Lead Designer \\- Creation of 3D design files \\- Creation of complete project design binders \\- Work independently on pricing furniture & materials for clients and create client proposals \\- Take initiative, problem solve, collaborate & communicate effectively with the Design Team \\- Prioritize tasks and coordinate completion of projects \\- Maintain vendor relationships and maintain the Studio library materials \\- Development of furniture packages \\- Develop, prepare and produce quality presentations and prepare Lead Designer and team for client presentations \\- Assist with furniture installations \\- Manage the furniture and material procurement process Qualifications \\- Bachelor's Degree in Interior Design or a related field preferred \\- Must be detail oriented \\- Amazing communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to be assertive and clear with vendors and subcontractors \\- Must have a reliable car with a valid drivers license \\- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs \\- Proficient in Google Workspace software (Sheets, Slides, Drive, etc.)
