Junior Interior Designer

Florence Livingston Interiors is looking for a creative and detail-oriented junior designer with at least two years of full-time experience in a high-end residential design studio. Our studio is located in Mill Valley, and we currently have several exciting projects with lovely clients. You will be involved in all the phases of a design project. Responsibilities: Under direction and supervision, you will need to: • gather inspirational images online, in books and magazines • create vision boards on Photoshop • design spaces on AutoCAD, generate floor plans and detailed elevations • provide detailed drawings for custom furniture • source interesting furniture, fixtures, art, and accessories, online, with our trade accounts, or in person at local shops and SFDC showrooms • request lead times, quotes, and specifications from vendors • attend client meetings • keep track of your time in Studio Designer and stay on target for estimated hours • place orders once approved by clients and... follow up on orders • assist with installations and photoshoots • prepare, manage, and maintain all project binders when appropriate • coordinate with contractors, subs, and architects • run project-specific errands in San Francisco, Marin, and the East Bay • research new vendors, products, and materials • meet with vendors to stay informed on the latest collections and products • assist with product receiving and inspecting
