We are looking for a junior interior designer / interior architect to join our team. The candidate should have design experience on high-end residential projects where he/she was involved in all phases of the interior design process. The candidate must be proficient in AutoCAD and have a degree in Interior Design or Architecture.
The right candidate will be professional and goal oriented; assisting with all levels of a project from concept through design development, client relations, vendor relations, through final installation and styling. Able to prepare quotes, proposals, and follow up without needing to be asked. Works closely with the two partners on multiple projects consecutively, strong skills at time management and ability to work alone.
Specific Responsibilities Include:
• Sourcing of furnishings and fabrics • Furniture planning
• Elevation drawings, furniture drawings
• Working with Senior Designers to prepare client presentations
• Maintain project budgets and timelines
• Manage project timeline and expectations
Requirements:
• Must have a Professional Degree in Interior Design, Architecture or related field
Must be able to showcase finished work and drawings
• Minimum 3 years experience
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and all Adobe programs, Microsoft Office
• Passionate, self-motivated designer
