Job Summary Junior Interior Designers are an integral part of the design phase of residential projects. Working in conjunction with senior-level designers, Junior Designers assist in the administrative duties of planning and assisting design... meetings and in the procurement and organization of all necessary project data. Responsibilities include assisting in the development of client presentations, product research, develop FF&E packages, prepare construction documentation (interior architecture scope: interior elevations, millwork details, interior finishes, plumbing, appliance, hardware, accessories schedules), and develop finish and material selections/ mood boards. Job Responsibilities • Assist senior-level designers in preparing for design meetings with clients • Obtain product information for designers, including availability and costing • Develop, maintain and manage finish schedules for design projects • Assist senior-level designers in the selection and presentation of furniture, material finishes, FF&E, and lighting including by way of graphic presentations and mood boards • Collect and manage design project data • Build and maintain client/vendor relationships • Provide design support to and maintain open communication with clients, consultants, manufacturers, and team members during all phases of the project • Tackle complex design issues as they arise
