Junior Interior Designer

LC Three of New York is a luxury residential interior design firm in partnership with LC Three Corporation, a consulting company specializing in construction and property management and owner's representation. We are a small office seeking a junior designer to join our growing team! You will work directly with the Principal Designer and will play a key role in all aspects of our projects from inception to completion. Job Requirements: • 4-year bachelor's degree • 3-5 years experience in residential design or related industry position • Proficiency in CAD, Studio Designer, Power Point, Adobe and Google Docs • Rendering and/or Photoshop skills a plus • Knowledge of NYC design resources - furniture, fabrics, wallcoverings, vendors, artisans • This role requires a blend of our NYC office presence, client visits, and work from home, ideally based within a 45-minute commute to Manhattan • Positive and supportive team player, willing to be flexible and jump into any task and evolve with the growth of the firm • Organized with keen attention to detail • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Excellent time management and follow through • Clear understanding of the ordering and production process • Design sensibility and intuition • Ability to prioritize, multitask and be involved in several projects at once • Willingness to travel as needed for projects • Strong work ethic and desire to learn • Building client presentations • Site visits to supervise/check-in as needed • Entering FF&E into Studio Designer in order to generate client proposals, invoices, purchase orders, etc.
