We have a collaborative team of architects, interior designers and construction professionals that offers each team member a multi-disciplined learning environment. The ideal candidate will assist lead designer in developing designs and details for the interior design of our luxury homes based on the needs of the client. Assist the lead designer with the following: • Guide and advise clients’ design selections, through the architectural selection process within the milestone chart timeline • Design kitchens, bathrooms, bars, built-ins and other areas as necessary • Design furniture plans that coordinate with the electrical and lighting plans • Coordinate and direct the pricing efforts of the purchasing department • Visit suppliers, showrooms and home-sites with and without clients as necessary • Create detailed designs for kitchens, bathrooms and others as necessary • Coordinate with project managers on the scope and pricing of change orders • Maintain Finish Selection Chart for all assigned projects • Find and research new products • Proactively identify and solve problems to reduce risk and costs • Keep up-to-date on new products and designs • Work within a collaborative team approach • Manage multiple multi-million dollar projects at same time • Make budget conscious design decisions • Work with construction team on site to explain design intent and resolve conflicts • Review and approve shop drawings
