Junior Interior Designer

Terri Ricci Interiors is a high-end residential interior design firm located in the Westport/Norwalk, CT area. We are looking for a Junior Interior Designer with at least 2 years of residential experience to work full-time on projects both locally as well as in destination locations. Responsibilities: • Support senior designers on multiple projects at once • Create item proposals and client billing packages • Create vendor purchase orders, vendor payments, track orders, schedule deliveries • Assist with client meetings and meeting notes • Assist with the creation and maintenance of project budget • Assist with FF&E schedules and specifications • Assist with researching and sourcing FF&E items • Manage vendor relationships and maintain sample library • Drawing required – floor plans, furniture layouts, elevations, custom furniture. 3D modeling a plus. • Qualifications: • AutoCAD, Google Suite, and Microsoft Office Suite proficiency required • Studio Designer and 3D software a plus • At least 2 years of experience working on high-end residential projects from concept through installation • Have good sense of style with a refined eye and a strong knowledge of resources and vintage furniture • Must be detail oriented and highly organized with the ability to be assertive • Must have a sense of humor and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment that can be ambiguous and demanding at times • Must have a reliable car with a valid driver’s license • Must be willing to travel occasionally to project destinations such as California, Martha’s Vineyard, and Palm Beach, FL.
