Role Description This is a full-time, 30- 40 hours a week, Monday - Friday, on-site role for a Junior Interior Designer at Dixon Smith Interiors. This is an ideal job for a person at the start of a residential interior design career looking for work experience and a place to grow. Qualifications • Proficiency with computers and digital equipment, Microsoft Office, design software and tools • Self-starter with strong attention to detail and residential design aesthetics • Must be comfortable learning sales in high end design environment • Ability to work collaboratively and professionally with clients and team members • Excellent verbal and written language and organizational skills required • Space Planning, Interior Design, and light architecture skills • Experience in creating construction drawings and renderings in software a plus • Basic knowledge of textiles and vendors, FF&E selection and specification preferred • Must be adaptable, willing, and able to quickly learn new skills relating to assigned duties and enjoy a small business setting in a dynamic environment • Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field strongly preferred • Social Media and Adobe Creative Suite experience a plus • Must be possess critical thinking, creative and analytical skillset • Must be able to squat, bend, twist, and reach • Must be able to lift minimum of 20 pounds comfortably • Must have excellent personal time management and reliable daily transportation • Must have valid Driver's License
