Junior Interior Designer

Job Description Brooklyn-based Interior Design Studio Seeking Highly-Effective Junior Designer \\- Responsibilities will include all aspects of the design process from conceptual phase to assisting on-site with installations: \\- Site surveys in the NYC Metro area \\- Drafting 2D floor plans and elevations, millwork and custom furniture drawings \\- Developing drawing templates and standards \\- Researching, sourcing, and specifying FFE and materials \\- Develop mood boards, presentations, and other visual assets \\- Creating and updating all FFE and project-related schedules \\- Gather and organize samples by client and maintain materials library \\- Work directly with Project Manager on procurement and administration NOTE: The role will begin in a part- time capacity, working remotely from home (due to Covid), but can quickly turn into a full-time position. Applicants must be physically located in the NYC Metro area for site and vendor visits. Job Requirements \\- Degree in Interior Design or Architecture \\- Minimum 3 years of experience at residential design studio \\- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Sketchup, Photoshop \\- Hand sketching / rendering abilities is a MUST \\- Proficiency in Google Apps Suite, Ivy (or other order management software) \\- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with team members \\- Highly organized, great attention to detail, follow-through is essential \\- Highly effective verbal and written communication skills \\- Positive attitude and willingness to learn!
