Junior Interior Designer

Amy Friedberg Design is an award-winning, full-service boutique residential interior design firm based in Menlo Park, California. This role is ideal for a designer with 3 to 5+ years of professional experience who is eager to grow within a fast-paced, detail-driven studio environment. Collaborate with the Principal and team on a wide range of residential projects Contribute to design development, including concept creation and finish palettes Support all phases of design, from initial concept through installation Prepare and maintain detailed drawing sets, including floor plans, elevations, and specifications Source furnishings, materials, and finishes aligned with project goals Assist with project coordination, vendor communication, and order tracking Participate in client presentations and assist in preparing visual materials and mood boards Support onsite activities, including installations and styling Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, or related field Minimum 3+ years of experience in a residential interior design firm Experience with renovations and new construction projects Familiarity with construction documentation and job site coordination Strong design sensibility with a keen eye for detail Excellent organizational and time management skills Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment Proactive, self-motivated, and solutions-oriented Strong verbal and written communication skills Collaborative mindset with a positive, team-oriented attitude Experience sourcing and specifying materials, finishes, and furnishings
