A small, boutique interior design firm that specializes in residential projects is seeking a Junior Interior Designer. Must be creative, highly- organized, and driven. Must also know AutoCAD and 3D modeling! The primary role of this position is to assist the Principal Designer throughout the design process and will be responsible for an array of duties that include: • Creating presentations in InDesign • Sourcing lighting, furnishings, hardware, floor/window coverings, materials, and finishes. • Draft floor plans in AutoCAD • Expediting and tracking furniture orders for multiple projects in IVY • Requesting quotes and lead times with vendors, fabricators & showrooms • Running project-related errands • Assisting on install days and photoshoots Requirements: • Minimum of 2+ years of interior design experience • Proficient in AutoCAD • Knowledge of Adobe Suite (InDesign and Photoshop) and MS Office • You must own a reliable computer and all of the above design programs • Strong design eye & presentation skills are essential • Knowledge of trade resources and vendors • Reliable car and valid driver’s license • Must live in or near Los Angeles Please email a cover letter, resume, and a portfolio illustrating the projects you've been involved with.
