Kitchen & Bath Designer

Pridecraft is a family‑owned cabinet shop in North Andover, founded more than 60 years ago. We build custom cabinetry in‑house and are also a semi‑custom dealer.
We're looking for a Kitchen & Bath Designer to take projects from first conversation to install. You'll meet with homeowners, contractors and designers, measure spaces, create plans and turn your designs into orders and shop drawings.
This is a hands‑on role for someone who cares as much about how a cabinet is built as how it looks.
Responsibilities
Meet with clients on‑site and in our showroom to understand scope, style and budget
Take accurate field measurements
Design kitchens, baths, mudrooms and built‑ins, and present floor plans, elevations and renderings to clients
Guide clients through door styles, finishes, construction, hardware and accessories
Prepare estimates and proposals
Turn approved designs into clean orders for our suppliers or our shop
Coordinate with the shop, installers and general contractors to keep projects on schedule
Qualifications
Required
3+ years designing kitchens and baths in a cabinetry showroom or remodeling setting
Strong working knowledge of cabinet construction and how cabinets are ordered and installed
Proficiency with kitchen design software (2020 Design, KCD or similar)
Accurate, detail‑oriented measuring and drafting
Clear, professional communication with homeowners and trade partners
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for site visits
Nice to have
Experience with KCD Software or a design‑to‑build workflow
Familiarity with semi‑custom cabinet ordering
A portfolio of completed kitchens or baths
What we offer
Health insurance, paid time off, holidays
The people building your designs are down the hall, so questions get answered on the shop floor, not by email
A small, family‑run team where your input shapes how we work
