Kitchen Designer (Contract / Per Diem)

• *Overview** The ideal candidate has a strong eye for design, technical proficiency, and the ability to translate client ideas into functional, beautiful kitchen layouts. • *Key Responsibilities:** • Meet with clients (in-person or virtually) to understand their needs, preferences, and budget • Create 2D and 3D kitchen designs using industry-standard software (e.g., 2020 Design, SketchUp, Chief Architect, or similar) • Develop layout plans, cabinetry configurations, and material selections • Present visual renderings to clients and revise designs based on feedback • Collaborate with contractors and project managers to ensure design feasibility • Provide detailed specifications and measurements for project execution • Stay current on kitchen design trends, materials, and innovations • *Qualifications:** • Proven experience in kitchen or interior design • Proficiency in kitchen design software (e.g., 2020 Design, SketchUp, Chief Architect, or similar) • Strong understanding of space planning, cabinetry, and materials • Excellent communication and client-facing skills • Ability to work independently on a flexible, as-needed basis • Portfolio of past kitchen design projects (required) • *Preferred Qualifications:** • Background in interior design, architecture, or related field • Experience working with remodeling or construction teams • Knowledge of building codes and kitchen ergonomics • *Compensation:** • Per diem / per project rate (based on experience) • Flexible schedule depending on client demand • *How to Apply:** Pay: $28.00 - $35.00 per hour Work Location: Hybrid remote in Easton, PA 18042
