Job Overview

We are seeking a talented and energetic Kitchen/Bath Designer to join our dynamic design team. Using your expert knowledge of design software and construction processes, you will guide clients through the entire design journey — from concept to completion — ensuring every detail aligns with building codes, safety standards, and aesthetic aspirations. Responsibilities

Collaborate closely with clients to understand their vision, preferences, and functional requirements for kitchen and bathroom projects.
Create comprehensive construction detail documentation that adheres to building code compliance and safety standards.
Utilize graphic design software like Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Creative Suite to produce compelling presentations and visualizations for client approval.
Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery while maintaining high-quality standards.
Conduct building code analysis and building information modeling (BIM) to optimize space planning, lighting design, and material selections.
Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, vendors, and team members throughout the project lifecycle to ensure seamless coordination from concept through remodeling or renovation phases.

Requirements

Proven experience in residential interior design projects with a strong portfolio showcasing kitchen and bathroom designs.
Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit), 3D modeling tools (SketchUp, 3ds Max, Rhinoceros 3D), and rendering programs.
Knowledge of construction detail documentation, building code analysis, and BIM tools for accurate project execution.
Familiarity with graphic design software such as Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Creative Suite for presentation purposes.
Strong understanding of interior design principles including color theory, lighting design, remodeling processes, and renovation best practices.
Excellent client communication skills with the ability to manage multiple projects efficiently while meeting deadlines.
Experience in managing design projects from initial concept through installation; including budgeting and contracts is preferred.
Background in construction or remodeling projects with an emphasis on building code compliance and safety standards is highly desirable.

Pay: $55,000.00 - $84,800.00 per year
