Responsibilities • Meet with homeowners on-site to understand goals, style preferences, and budget expectations • Perform site measurements and assessments, identify constraints and opportunities • Create concepts and buildable landscape designs using CAD/design software and sketches as needed • Develop clear scopes of work, selections, and proposals (materials, allowances, options, timelines) • Present designs and proposals, follow up professionally, and close signed agreements • Maintain accurate client notes and next steps throughout the sales process • Coordinate with project managers and installation teams to ensure design intent is executed, adjust as needed • Coordinate with the accounting team on customer billing questions, payment schedules, and timely collections, including assisting with follow-up on past-due accounts as needed. Required • 3+ years of landscape design and/or landscape project sales experience • Strong knowledge of plants, hardscape materials, and basic construction methods • Strong communication and presentation skills • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines • Valid driver’s license and ability to complete regular site visits • Comfort working in person and meeting clients at their homes Strongly encouraged • Portfolio of design work (PDF or link) • Prior sales volume (share annual sold revenue, average project size, close rate, or similar)
