You're an experienced production artist/lead fabricator with confidence and experience creating sculptural artworks and architectural elements in numerous styles. We are an art + design + fabrication studio that curates and creates art collections for commercial spaces. Duties & Responsibilities: \\- Work with the creative team from initial concept through material and methods selection, prototyping, production and fulfillment \\- Lead production of art and fabrication projects \\- Communicate and prioritize schedules based on multiple concurrent and ongoing projects \\- Handle and install artwork on and off site Qualifications & Requirements: \\- Able to work 40 hours per week \\- 5+ years working experience in an art studio, fabrication shop, or other related professional work environment \\- Art and sculpture background, education or experience \\- Experience with general wood shop equipment and tools: table saw, chop saw, air tools, etc. \\- Communicates via working drawings, shop drawings, and sketches \\- Work quickly and accurately in a production environment \\- Able to work independently and under direction \\- Eye for detail and a sense for quality construction Additional Information: \\- Hours of operation: Monday-Friday, 8am-6pm \\- Full-time 40 hours/week \\- MUST be available to work over-time as needed, including some weekends \\- Compensation based on experience & qualifications For consideration, please submit email your resume with a cover letter and include "ARTFAB" in the subject line.
