Lead Interior Designer

We are a growing interior design firm looking for a full-time designer to aid in the overall interior design process. The candidate must have an excellent work ethic and an enthusiastic attitude. Job Duties: \\- Provide assistance in the creation of preliminary plans and design concepts \\- Assist in analyzing design objectives in accordance to clients' needs \\- Develop proposals and budgets \\- Order samples from vendors and handle presentations creation activities \\- Assist with sample selections, hand sketches, drawings, schedules and boards \\- Provide design, clerical and administrative support \\- Maintain knowledge of space planning, floor finish plans and elevations \\- Manage design libraries of resources and maintain files and binders \\- Assist with installations, coordinate deliveries and handle post installation follow up activities \\- Oversee marketing developments and associated activities \\- Create sourcing materials and CAD plans for various projects Required Skills/Qualifications: \\- Management \\- Knowledge of AutoCAD, Sketch Up, Revit, etc. \\- Proficient in Excel and Word \\- Ability to work independently \\- Detail oriented and organized \\- Must know how to read and comprehend plans \\- Thorough understanding of floor and wall materials \\- Thorough understanding of lighting, cabinetry and appliances \\- Ability to efficiently multi-task and problem solve \\- Strong communication and collaboration skills \\- Ability to take initiative For immediate consideration, please attach your resume and cover letter to an e-mail, and list "Interior Designer" in the subject line.
