Lead Interior Designer

**Overview:** Join our client's talented design team in Santa Fe, NM as a Lead Interior Designer, where you'll take the lead on residential projects, guiding them from concept to installation. This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and team-oriented Interior Designer to thrive in a creative and fast-paced environment. **Responsibilities:** • Assist in overseeing large-scale, long-term design projects from concept through installation for high-end residential and boutique commercial projects • Lead design and project management on smaller residential projects • Lead and assist in the drawing and development of comprehensive design plans and construction drawing sets, including sourcing, floorplans, elevations, etc. * Collaborate with outside consultants and project partners, including Architects, General Contractors, Craftsmen, and more • Drive project progress through timeline management and vendor expediting, maintaining strong relationships and communication with clients and vendors • Prepare proposals (PO's) for product and labor • Prepare materials and organize presentations before client meetings • Design custom furniture, cabinetry, textiles, and more to achieve the design vision • Create finish schedules and coordinate construction with architects/builders • Contact vendors and work with the team for pricing and samples • Work with the purchasing coordinator to order and track product through to project installation • Work with the logistics manager to oversee installation • Help photograph and assist the stylist with completing projects with our photographer • Prepare materials and organize presentations before client meetings, interpreting and helping bring the design vision to life for clients • *Qualifications:** • Interior design degree or equivalent work experience • 5 years of interior design experience, preferably in hospitality and residential interior design • Proficiency in AutoCAD, REVIT, and Adobe Creative Suite • A keen eye for design and the willingness to continuously grow and adapt • Demonstrated ability to produce design specifications, present ideas to the team and clients, and assist clients in selections • Ability to work on multiple projects with simultaneous timelines • Excellent communication skills with clients, vendors, and team members • Ability to travel when needed to project sites • *Benefits:** • Annual Salary + Full Benefits Package • The full benefits package includes a healthcare package (medical, dental, and vision), 401K with company match, PTO, Holidays, sick leave, expense reimbursement, mileage reimbursement, working style flexibility, team gatherings, and more
