If you are looking to be involved in design work that is on the pages of the most well renown publications, this could be the job for you. This position requires a well-rounded individual with at least 2 years experience in traditional, ultra high end interior design, who has the ability to work from concept phase through construction/installation administration. The job requires the ability to adjust a given approach based on feedback and to maintain familiarity with the interior design landscape including keeping up with trends, in order to provide the best work for the principal. Responsibilities: The position will be responsible for sourcing (furniture and researching items for projects as needed Directing 3D Schematic Renderings (preferred but not required) Handling architectural finish selections, specification writing Sourcing fabric, furnishings, carpeting, drapes, upholstery. furniture, fixture and accessory specifications; furnishing, color and material boards; model making; FF&A; sourcing; resource organization Generating creative design solutions within the functional parameters of a project Translating concepts and information into images Maintaining project binders with all related contacts, schedules, specs, drawings Research and Source furniture, lighting, fabrics, wallpapers and any relevant interior finishes Create floor plans, elevations, sections and detailed drawings using AutoCAD SKILLS REQUIRED: Degree Proficient in AutoCAD (preferred but not required) Proficient in Adobe Creative Suites (InDesign, Photoshop)
