Lead Kitchen and Interior Design

About the role:
We are seeking an accomplished, creative, and inspiring Lead Luxury Kitchen & Interior Designer to lead the design experience for exceptional residential kitchens.

Job Type: Full-time (direct hire)
Salary: $80,000 - $100,000 per year (based on experience)
Schedule: Monday - Friday (including some weekends) 8am - 5pm
As the design leader, you will set creative standards, elevate the client’s experience, mentor fellow designers, and help shape the future of our kitchen design and interior systems.

What You’ll Do:
1. Client Development & Sales
• Develop distinctive, highly personalized kitchen designs that reflect each client’s lifestyle, architectural setting, and aesthetic preferences.
• Build relationships with homeowners, architects, designers, contractors, and developers; assess objectives, budgets, and timelines.
• Create sophisticated design concepts, space plans, elevations, renderings, and detailed presentations.

2. Kitchen & Interior Systems Design
• Lead premium European kitchen layouts, cabinetry, storage, materials, finishes, and appliance integration.
• Develop wardrobes, walk-in closets, built-in cabinetry, and modular living systems, with kitchens remaining the primary specialty.
• Build trusted relationships with discerning homeowners and industry professionals.

3. Technical Quality & Leadership
• Prepare and review accurate CAD drawings, dimensions, finishes, accessories, and product configurations.
• Review complex kitchen configurations and guide other designers; resolve design conflicts before handoff.
• Provide creative leadership, technical guidance, and mentorship to fellow designers.
4. Project Handoff & Coordination
• Manage design timelines, project priorities, and client deliverables across multiple projects.
• Develop proposals and specifications that align design vision with client budgets and business objectives.
• Provide subsequent clarification of the approved design without assuming routine project management, logistics, or installation supervision.

Qualifications
• At least five years of relevant kitchen, cabinetry, or comparable systems-design experience, or equivalent demonstrated technical expertise; strong kitchen planning and appliance-integration knowledge;
• AutoCAD or comparable drafting proficiency; accurate technical documentation;

Preferred:
• Premium European kitchen systems (CARAT, Winner, 2020 Design or comparable manufacturer software); wardrobe and living-system experience; luxury residential projects; metric/imperial proficiency.
