You will be responsible for conceptualizing, designing, and executing lighting schemes that enhance the mood, atmosphere, and narrative of each production. Key duties include collaborating with directors, set designers, and other creative team members; developing lighting plots, cue sheets, and equipment specifications; overseeing the installation and focus of lighting equipment; programming lighting consoles; and troubleshooting technical issues during rehearsals and performances. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Lighting Design or a related field, or equivalent professional experience, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in professional theatre or live event lighting design. Proficiency with various lighting control systems (e.g., ETC Eos family, GrandMA) and lighting design software (e.g., Vectorworks, Lightwright) is essential. This is an on-site role requiring presence for rehearsals, technical periods, and performances.
