As a seller-doer, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: • Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities with current and prospective clients; • Participating in interviews and helping to secure work for the office; • Collaborating with our Contracts Administrator to draft and issue proposals/contracts; • Creating work plans/scopes of work for potential projects, including team establishment, fee and schedule configuration; • Managing profitability, staff utilization, and working alongside our Finance Team on invoicing and collections for assigned projects; • Keeping the Managing Director(s) and Finance Manager informed of any issues related to project profitability, staffing, and accounts receivable; • Overseeing a variety of project sizes/types to completion, ensuring alignment with design concepts and client needs through internal and external coordination; • Establishing and managing project teams, budgets, and schedules to achieve anticipated milestones/deadlines with timely project completions; • Collaborating with the project team to deliver the design concept, which includes presenting ideas and coordinating all aspects of project delivery for client approval; • Coordinating internally to deliver project work across various locations, involving internal service lines as needed; • Monitoring contracts and making necessary adjustments based on client requests or additional services required; • Ensuring adherence to set budgets and project schedules; • Tracking staffing and coordinating with other Project/Design Managers to assign tasks and oversee productivity, while providing coaching and mentorship to project staff; • Actively contributing to the growth of the Dallas office by implementing strategies to enhance productivity, profitability, and office culture; • Managing client relationships from project inception through completion, aiming for additional business opportunities and referrals.
