Responsibilities & Duties: • Design all visual displays, vignettes and furniture sets in The Shop • Cultivate a warm, inviting environment and customer experience in the Shop through thoughtfully curated displays and merchandising • Coordinate with our inventory manager, floral designer and warehouse to ensure visual merchandising is planned and executed • Assist management with daily operations of The Shop focused on inventory & merchandising • Develop a deep rich knowledge of our product catalog, there’s a lot to know & learn! You will be expected to become an expert in our line of products • Lead our ‘In Home Styling’ program. The ideal candidate will be/have: • Have an understanding of the DSI brand, look & aesthetic • Integrate seamlessly with the look we’ve become known for • Possess a deep love for all things home & design (borderline obsession is helpful) • Killer taste & design eye one that is consistent with the DSI brand • Be a team player at DSI we check egos at the door and we all work together • Be highly motivated & a self-starter • Have a sense of humor, a killer work ethic and a can do attitude – there is no “I” in team • Have previous experience in high end home furnishings retail sales/styling/merchandising • Be a killer stylist with a deep understanding of product merchandising
