The Licensed Interior Designer manages and provides design supervision for outside consultants in the interior design, furniture selection and project budgeting for university projects from space planning, specification, construction, purchasing and installation. This position provides Space Planning, Interior Design, furniture/material selection and specification for university provided interior design projects. This position monitors bidding, purchasing and delivery scheduling services provided by university Materials Management department as those services relate to the FF&E and construction project budget and project timeline. • Interpersonal Communication – the extent to which the employee communicates in a direct, timely and respectful manner both in verbal and written forms. • Experience with project budgets, planning, scheduling, and monitoring projects in planning, design, and construction.
