Lighting Sales Associate

We are a family run business seeking a Lighting Sales Associate to become a part of our team! We are looking for someone who takes initiative, is detail oriented with good follow through & can communicate clearly. Responsibilities: -Greeting and helping customers -Retail sales, recommending lighting to fit the customer's need -Work with designers and contractors -Process paperwork & payments for sales, returns, special orders, and repairs -Check in repairs and estimate cost (training for this is provided) -Help in the selection of a new shade for existing lamps -Maintain a clean and tidy front counter and showroom, re display lamps -Re-stock bulb and dimmer shelves as needed Qualifications: -Previous experience in interior design or other related fields is an advantage but not required -Basic computer skills, must be able to type at least 35 wpm -Deadline and detail-oriented -Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment -Excellent written and verbal communication skills
