Lighting & Technology Designer

Job Description: Our designers work in a design center setting illustrating lighting design techniques and the latest technology to our clients. Overall, production designers are responsible for their lighting designs (training provided), client relations maintenance, and following the Aterra process for project management. Experience: Knowledgeable background / experience in design applications, client relations, space planning, human factors in design, and architectural design techniques is preferred but not required.. Areas of Responsibility: • Client Maintenance• Project Design• Following Aterra design process• Tracking Report Maintenance• Plan & Fixture Schedule Creation• Field Visits• Product / Design Educational Update Training• Continuing Education (i.e., lighting design certification through IESNA and other industry related courses)*This position will report directly to the Operations Manager at the corporate headquarters in Scottsdale, AZ.
