Luxury Design Associate

The associate serves as both a trusted design advisor and a sales partner, helping clients translate their vision into beautifully executed interiors. Key Responsibilities • Engage with clients in a showroom or studio setting to understand their design goals, lifestyle needs, and budget • Provide expert guidance on furniture collections, materials, finishes, and customization options • Develop furniture layouts, concepts, or design recommendations that align with client expectations and brand standards • Build and maintain strong client relationships through attentive service, follow-up, and ongoing communication • Drive sales by presenting solutions thoughtfully, handling objections, and closing transactions with confidence • Prepare quotes, proposals, and orders while ensuring accuracy and attention to detail • Coordinate with internal teams, vendors, or logistics partners to support order fulfillment and delivery timelines • Maintain showroom presentation, visual merchandising, and product knowledge at a luxury standard • Stay informed on design trends, materials, and industry best practices Qualifications • Background or education in interior design, furniture design, architecture, or a related field • Experience in luxury retail, showroom sales, or client-facing design roles • Strong eye for aesthetics, materials, and spatial planning • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills • Proven ability to build rapport with discerning, high-expectation clients • Sales-driven mindset with a consultative, service-oriented approach • High level of professionalism, organization, and attention to detail • Proficiency with design tools, CRM systems, or order management software is a plus Kavaliro provides Equal Employment Opportunities to all employees and applicants.
