Role Description The Luxury Design & Sales Consultant is a full-time, on-site role based in Jacksonville, FL. This role focuses on guiding clients through luxury home and outdoor furnishing selections, offering expert design consultation and tailored recommendations that align with each client’s style, budget, and lifestyle. Day-to-day responsibilities include greeting and engaging clients in the showroom, presenting product features and benefits, creating design concepts and mood boards, and coordinating room or whole-home layouts. The consultant will prepare quotes, process sales, follow up to ensure client satisfaction, and collaborate closely with the design studio team, warehouse, and delivery partners to manage orders and installations. Additional tasks include maintaining attractive and organized showroom displays, staying current on product lines and design trends, and supporting events or promotional activities that enhance the client experience.

Qualifications

Sales Consulting and Consulting skills to understand client needs, provide tailored design solutions, and drive luxury retail sales.Customer Satisfaction and Customer Service skills to build long-term client relationships, manage expectations, and ensure a positive experience from consultation through delivery.Strong Communication skills, including clear verbal and written communication, active listening, and the ability to present concepts and products confidently.Experience or education in interior design, visual merchandising, or related fields is highly beneficial.Knowledge of luxury furniture, décor, and outdoor living products, with an eye for design, color, and space planning.Proficiency with basic digital tools (email, POS systems, CRM software); comfort using design software is a plus.Ability to work on-site full time, including some evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed for client appointments and events.Demonstrated reliability, attention to detail, and a collaborative approach to working with cross-functional teams.
