Award-winning relocation company, Changing Places, Inc., seeks an outstanding creative professional to join our team in the San Rafael home office. This is a newly created position where the candidate must bring management skills, business skills and creativity that will contribute to Changing Places’ continued growth as a nationwide leader in relocations and as an emerging leader in home design. We provide a white glove concierge service, handling all of the details of every relocation; whether a downsizing or upsize, locally, nationally and internationally. The ideal candidate has: • 5+ years of experience in interior design, industrial design, home staging or other similar creative field as a business manager. • Excellent project management skills, and an ability to balance multiple projects at one time • An innate ability to sell and represent the company as an ambassador • Experience in high-end construction management, overseeing renovations & remodels, architecture and/or estate management is highly desired • Experience in marketing, public relations, advertising and relocation are a plus • Experience managing staff, including field-based crew is a plus • Experience working with a CRM database like Salesforce or Zoho • Proficient with Mac products (iMac, iPhone, iPad, iPhotos) should currently use an iPhone • Proficient in MS Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint • Proficient with cloud-based storage applications: e.g. Google Drive + Dropbox Responsibilities will include (but not limited to): • Working with the Owner and the Vice President to build our interior design, light home staging and renovation/remodel divisions • Identify opportunities for improvement and growth, training and development in design, staging, renovation/remodel • Feng Shui practices are a plus.
