Hours: 40 hours a week; M-F, 10am-6pm. Must be able to: • Assist with appointments and scheduling • Assist and initiate design concepts • Create client presentation materials and mood boards • Hand draw or use SketchUp software to create floor plans • Communicate and manage orders with vendors and retailers • Monitor multiple project scopes of work, budgets and deadlines • Provide project updates • Communicate with and coordinate contractors and other tradespeople • Source items • Price and research materials Requirements: • Strong time-management (ability to work in a fast paced environment) • Detailed note-taker (includes hand-sketching design spaces during meetings, taking accurate measurements, and notes regarding concepts and approvals from clients at meetings, etc.) • Responsible • Diligent work ethic • Project oversight skills • Reliable • Excellent communication, customer service, and organizational skills • Problem-solver • Own reliable car/transportation; ability to commute in and around Los Angeles 90039 Bonus points for competence with: • QuickBooks • Photoshop • InDesign • SketchUp or AutoCAD Education: Bachelor's degree (preferred but not required) Work Location: Home office location and various project locations throughout the Los Angeles area.
