We’re looking for someone who’s ready to take the lead on our projects and bring their expertise of design thinking, strategy and execution to the table.Job Overview:As an Interior Design Lead, you’ll collaborate with creative leadership on the 30,000-foot design vision, then take full ownership of its execution across a range of residential, commercial, and production projects. fostering their professional growth and helping them enhance their creative output.Quality Control:Review design documents for accuracy, ensuring they meet client expectations and align with our design standards.Offer creative solutions to any design challenges, ensuring the seamless integration of those solutions throughout the project.Qualifications:Experience:5+ years of interior design experience, with a portfolio that demonstrates leadership in both residential and commercial projects.Proven ability to take ownership of the design process from concept to execution, working autonomously and managing multiple projects simultaneously.Technical Skills:Proficiency in 2D/3D design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Enscape)Strong track record of managing workflows, budgets, and timelines in a fast-paced environment requiredLeadership & Collaboration:Experience leading design development and mentoring junior designers, fostering a collaborative, inclusive team culture.Ability to work independently while contributing to high-level strategic decisions.Communication:Excellent communication skills for effectively working with clients, team members, and external stakeholders.Education:Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.Experience in production or experiential design is highly valued.Additional Information:Travel:Occasional travel to project sites and client/vendor meetings, with all expenses covered.Compensation:Prorated $72 -80k annual salary for the 3-month contract, with potential for full-time engagement based on performance.This role is designed for an interior designer who is ready to step into a more senior position and enjoys balancing creative direction with practical project management.
