Office Admin / Project manager

Franciscan Interiors an Interior Design Fabrication Studio and Custom Soft Furnishings workshop is looking to hire a part time interior design project manager / office administrator / assistant. In this position you will be working directly with the principal, sharing projects with the lead project manager, and coordinating with the fabrication team. We are a family-owned San Francisco business of 40 years, and you will be working with some of the friendliest, collaborative, and hard-working people in the industry. This is a great opportunity to experience the many areas of interior design and find your niche - whether it is high-end residential, commercial, restaurant, or hospitality interiors. Responsibilities: · Serve as the bridge between principals vendors, contractors, installers, and clients · Coordinate schedules and project timelines in weekly team meetings · Manage the purchasing flow of operations and project billing · Create and issue proposals and purchase orders with accurate product information · Draft plans, elevations, presentations, furniture for fabrication using AutoCAD and Adobe Photoshop · Assist principals with development of complete interior design projects · Oversee projects from conception to installation with an emphasis on quality control · Source fabrics and fabrication materials with direction from designers · Process the daily deliveries of supplies and project materials · Estimate materials and yardage requirements and pricing for specific item fabrication · Perform clerical tasks to support the studio and fabric library Compensation is $22- $28 DOE.
