Multi-faceted Interior Design Studio in Tacoma WA is seeking an Operations Manager to play a vital role in the growth and development of our business through creating and executing key performance factors and strategies to improve productivity and efficiency. The Operations Manager will specialize in building teams and developing processes and measurement tools that are vital to team member and organizational success. The individual will be well versed in both the design or retail industry as well as business operations and project management. Job Description: Develops and manages standard operating procedures for the company Develops and implements internal and external quality control standards and measurement procedures Creates and implements customer satisfaction procedures and feedback programs Creates and implements employee development and training programs Creates and executes the company’s home staging guidelines Provides oversight and support at home staging installations; will be assigned a company van to transport staging items to and from jobsites; will assist with load ins and load outs; will provide oversight to the home staging installation process, ensuring customer satisfaction, quality control, and company standards are achieved on every project Manages the retail store and furniture consignment operations Produces social media content at jobsites, submits to Creative Director for implementation Job Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in a Business-related field required or more than five years of business experience At least five years of any business or management related experience required At least five years of employee development experience required At least three years of Retail, Interior Design, Visual Merchandising, Home Staging, or Real Estate Experience required Proven Quality Control and Standard Operating Procedure Development Experience Proven Project Management Experience Proficient in MS Office Products; Internet proficiency Attention to detail and organizational skills a must; with the affinity for being meticulous Proven relationship building with clients, vendors, and community members Reliable, personal transportation required for all times of the day and any day of the week; will need to drive to and from vendors locations and job sites throughout the Puget Sound region; Proof of auto insurance required. Must have a clean driving record for company vehicle driving policies Personal cell phone required to make and accept business related calls, texts, and e-mails Must be able to lift at least 40 lbs individually and up to 100 lbs with a team member Hours / Days / Schedule: The position is full time with some Saturdays Salary / Wage / Benefits: Annual Salary starts at $55,000; can be more based on experience and can be discussed during the interview Employee discount on furniture, mileage reimbursement for travel to and from job sites, sick leave, and family leave.
