SCAD seeks an experienced painter to join its team full time in historic Savannah, Ga. In this role, you will decorate and protect interior and exterior surfaces, trimmings, and fixtures of buildings and other structures with paint, varnish, stain, enamel, or lacquer. You will fill nail holes, cracks, and joints with putty plaster; smooth surfaces with sandpaper, brushes, or steel wool; and simulate wood grain, marble, brick, tile, or other special effects with cloth, brushes, and sponges, among other duties. The successful candidate is knowledgeable about and adheres to OSHA standards, and is able to work independently. Professionalism is also essential.
