Part-Time Freelance Designer

About the job Alyssa Kristin is looking for a Bridal Designer (Bridal/Luxury Evening Wear) to join our development team and work closely with our Lead Designer and Creative Director. This individual will be responsible for conceptualizing and executing fresh, refined concepts to life for both our main collection, luxury line and custom gowns. This role can be based in Chicago or New York , and were open to full-time, part-time, or freelance arrangements depending on experience and availability. Design and develop pieces for the main collections and custom clients that reflect the brands creative vision and craftsmanship standards Partner with the Creative Director and Lead Designer on research, design exploration, and sample development through draping, patternmaking, and textile experimentation Collaborate with the team on fabric sourcing and custom material development, liaising directly with fabric and embroidery mills as needed Oversee the transition from post-development to pre-production, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure designs are executed seamlessly, on time, and within budget Uphold exceptional attention to detail and quality at every stage - from first concept through final sample Complete application form.
