Personal Assistant to Lead Home Interior Decorator

Job Title: Lead Designer Personal Assistant Location: Houston, TX Employment Type: Full-Time (90-Day Contract with Potential for Extension) Start Date: Immediately About the Role This role plays a crucial part in staging, furnishing, and preparing approximately 20 homes. Key Responsibilities • Assist Lead Designer with daily tasks, errands, and project coordination • Shop for décor, materials, and furniture as needed • Transport items to and from properties (must be comfortable lifting and loading) • Help with staging homes, arranging furniture, unpacking décor, and preparing spaces • Prepare color palettes, finishes, and samples under direction of the Lead Designer • Maintain organization of inventory, supplies, and design materials • Support scheduling, vendor coordination, and installation days • Ensure all properties meet quality standards before handover • Handle administrative tasks, receipts, checklists, and project documentation • Communicate professionally with vendors, team members, and property staff • Manage warehouse inventory Requirements • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation • Ability to lift 30–50 lbs and assist with physical staging tasks • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail • Ability to multitask and manage several projects at once • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities • Weekend availability when needed (rare, but occasionally required) • Previous experience in design, staging, real estate, or personal assisting is a plus
