Principal (Architectural Design Office Lead)

Principal Location: Salt Lake City, Utah 84101 | Hybrid remote, 3 days in the office weekly Employees: 250 | Team Size: 20 Open to relocating candidates and providing relocation assistance Most Important Responsibilities: • Reporting to the regional director, this highly strategic role is responsible for managing a growing and successful office and team of design staff, project managers, and project architects • Overseeing and growing two or more project teams and multiple projects at different stages • Managing budgets and other financial aspects of the office in collaboration with leadership • Establishing processes to improve design processes, project scope, schedules, quality, staff enrichment, and client satisfaction • Helping to identify new business opportunities and expand accounts as needed (there are a lot of inbound projects and work in the pipeline, so this is not a huge focus for this role) • Working with the construction administration team and interior design team to resolve issues • Coordinating project contractors, including owner agreements, consultant agreements, add serves, and budget information
